The Angels offense too much for CO Outlaws in 14-4 rout
The Angels shut the door early on CO Outlaws, capturing a 14-4 victory on Sunday at ASP.The game was decided quickly as the Angels exerted their will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.
An RBI single by Lindsey Rindal in the first inning and an error, an RBI double by Jen Trapp, an RBI single by Emily Supercynski, and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Angels. Trapp racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Angels.
Elisha Jahnke recorded the win for the Angels. She allowed four runs over five innings. Jahnke struck out two, walked one and gave up six hits.
The Angels answered CO Outlaws' top inning with one run of their own in the first.
It didn't take long for the Angels to answer as they scored five runs of their own in the third. The Angels scored on a solo home run by Aspen Eubanks and a home run by Trapp.
The Angels piled on four more runs in the bottom of the fourth. Laramie Rewerts singled, scoring Eubanks and Robyn Leighton to start the inning. That was followed up by Trapp's single, plating Jordan Roesch.
