The Angels drub Frankfort Flames, 8-0
The Angels pounded Frankfort Flames on Saturday 8-0 at North Platte in five innings.The Angels scored three runs in the third on an RBI single by Emily Supercynski, an error, and a groundout by Angela Cordova.
Supercynski racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Angels.
The Angels' Elisha Jahnke kept Frankfort Flames off the scoreboard for all five innings she was on the hill. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up two.
The lead stayed with the Angels after the second, when they scored one run on a walk by Laramie Rewerts.
The Angels got two-run rallies in the fourth inning and the fifth. In the fourth, the Angels scored on a two-run double by Supercynski, scoring Aspen Eubanks and Jen Trapp.
